This course offers a comprehensive overview of key CDBG requirements, including national objectives, eligible activities, cross-cutting regulations, and grants management responsibilities.

Whether you’re new to the program or looking for a refresher, this course helps you navigate the complexities of CDBG compliance, funding eligibility, and subrecipient oversight—all in plain language. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to implement CDBG rules on a National Objective basis and how to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of CDBG entitlement grantees, subrecipients, partners, and service providers.
Certification Exam Included: On the final day, you’ll take the CDBG Certification Exam, which covers key topics taught during the training—including CDBG national objectives, eligible uses of funds, grants management, and more. The online exam typically takes up to two hours to complete.

Training Dates and Times: The training is being held March 10-12, 2026. Day 1 Registration will be from 8:30am-9:00am and training be held 9:00am-4:30pm. Training - Day 2 8:30am-4:30pm and Day 3 9:00am-4:00pm. Please refer to the agenda.
Meals: No meals will be provided during this training; each participant is responsible for their own meals.
