To help participants make sense of it all, the course provides a framework for rules on a National Objective basis and ensures that they understand the roles and responsibilities applicable to the CDBG entitlement grantee, its subrecipients, partners, and low-income beneficiaries.
About the Certification Exam: The exam covers critical information taught in CDBG Fundamentals including national objectives, eligible activities, cross-cutting requirements, and CDBG grants management requirements. Participants should anticipate spending up to 2 hours completing the exam. Please bring your laptop to the training to sit for the online exam.
Training Site: Element Atlanta Buckhead 3491 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
Training Dates and Times: The training is being held on October 17-19, 2023. Registration on Day 1 will be from 8:30-9:00 AM. Training will occur from 9:00 AM-4:30 PM on both days. Day 3, training will occur from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, with the exam starting after the lunch break.
